Deakin’s Building NB is part of the university’s technology precinct and houses the school’s medicine's metabolic research unit. Located in Geelong. Our role on this project was to give the building a facelift, by removing and replacing the entire exterior cladding.
The works included replacement of shade battens, new external lighting, roofing replacement, painting works and more. We also completed a full mechanical services upgrade.
The works were completed whilst the site remained operational, so we had to work closely with the client in relation to staging and ensure works were complete safely.
The project was delivered on budget and on time. Bowden Corp was proud to partner with Deakin University and play a part in nurturing the bright minds of the future with such a state of the art facility.
