This vital project delivered a new, single-storey Country Fire Authority (CFA) Station in Golden Square, significantly enhancing emergency response capabilities for the local community. The modern facility provides firefighters with the infrastructure, amenities and operational spaces required to effectively serve and protect the area. Ample vehicle storage and dedicated support spaces support operational readiness and efficiency.
Project Scope
The project involved the construction of a new single-storey CFA Station, featuring a spacious four-vehicle motor room that houses fire trucks, along with a separate brigade shed that provides additional equipment storage. Covered walkways provide protection from the elements, while flagpoles represent the CFA and its role within the community.
The station incorporates multiple office spaces that support administrative functions, a multipurpose room for training and meetings, and a dedicated workshop that allows for equipment maintenance. A fully equipped kitchen, amenities, storage and laundry facilities provide essential support spaces for brigade members and day-to-day operations.
