The redevelopment of the Port Fairy Football Netball Club Change Rooms delivered modern, inclusive facilities for the club and the wider Port Fairy community. As a cornerstone of local sport, the club has a rich history dating back to 1868 and plays a vital role in fostering community spirit and healthy lifestyles. The completed redevelopment provides improved facilities for players, officials and spectators at Gardens Oval, supporting the club's ongoing sporting and community activities.
Scope of Works
The project involved the construction of brand-new change room facilities designed specifically for football and netball participants. The new building features dedicated change areas for players of all genders, along with essential amenities including trainer's facilities, a first aid room, storage spaces and administrative areas.
The redevelopment also incorporated public toilet facilities that are accessible during games and training, while the existing change rooms were refurbished to create dedicated umpire facilities. Landscaping works were also completed across the site, enhancing the overall environment and presentation of the grounds.
The completed redevelopment provides the Port Fairy Football Netball Club with a more functional, inclusive and welcoming facility, supporting players, officials, volunteers and the wider community for years to come.
