A major step in our goal of expanding operations across regional Victoria, our Bendigo branch was established in 2021.

The Bendigo team is led by experienced project manager, Cameron Hawker, and currently comprises 5 full-time staff and 6 site-based team members along with a network of highly skilled, locally-procured contractors. By building strong relationships with clients and contractors throughout the region, we’re able to deliver the highest quality projects, every time.

The decision to open an office in a region that holds Victoria’s third biggest economy has seen BowdenCorp take on a healthy pipeline of projects covering the health, education, aged care and emergency services sectors within Greater Bendigo and north central Victoria.

We look forward to continuing to solidify our presence while delivering projects that have a positive impact on the Greater Bendigo community.

Regional Manager

Luke McKenna

As one of BowdenCorp’s Regional Managers, Luke has been working in the industry for more than 20 years. He has extensive experience in architectural domestic construction, mid-tier commercial construction, high- density residential construction, civil works, basement construction, and structural steel assembly. Luke joined BowdenCorp in 2012, and is responsible for managing our Geelong and regional operations.

His responsibilities include high-level management of all staff and contracts including programming, day- to-day planning & scheduling, cost control, and client liaison. Luke ensures that projects are delivered safely, on time, at the specified quality, and on budget. He is trade qualified, and holds a range of certificates including Cert IV Construction, Cert III OH&S and Cert III Carpentry Frame and Fit Out.

Project Manager

Cameron Hawker

Cameron joined BowdenCorp in 2022 as an experienced Project Manager with over 20 years’ experience in contract administration, project management, and commercial construction. Cameron has worked on projects valued up to $150 million across Melbourne and Regional Victoria and his key project experience includes residential apartment, institutional, BER template buildings, commercial, and retail projects.

Cameron is responsible for overall management of projects; programming, logistical planning, and implementation; being the primary point of contact with the Superintendent; monthly reporting to stakeholders; and overseeing supplier and subcontractor procurement and agreement, quality assurance, and health and safety. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science, Construction Management (Honours), and Certificate III WH&S.
