This project delivered a new state-of-the-art Early Parenting Centre in Bendigo to support families with young children through a mix of day-stay and residential programs.
Purpose-built to enhance the health, wellbeing and developmental outcomes of children up to four years old, the centre combines welcoming spaces for families with dedicated clinical and staff areas. Designed using a standardised model, the facility reflects best-practice care environments and incorporates sustainable design features throughout.
Key Highlights:
- Inclusion of 10 residential suites and 4 day-stay units designed for family comfort and privacy
- Integration of shared spaces such as playrooms, dining areas, family lounges and internal courtyards
- Provision of consulting suites, a nurses station, formula preparation room and staff facilities
- Landscaped outdoor areas, including a sensory garden to support therapeutic engagement
- Use of sustainable design elements such as solar panels, rainwater harvesting and high-performance glazing
