Established in Warrnambool in 2023, our South West office is part of ongoing plans for regional growth. Headed by Project Manager, Sam Lewis, the team in the South West have a focus on delivering high-quality facilities for the education, health, agricultural, and aged care sectors.

Regional Manager

Luke McKenna

As one of BowdenCorp’s Regional Managers, Luke has been working in the industry for more than 20 years. He has extensive experience in architectural domestic construction, mid-tier commercial construction, high- density residential construction, civil works, basement construction, and structural steel assembly. Luke joined BowdenCorp in 2012, and is responsible for managing our Geelong and regional operations.

His responsibilities include high-level management of all staff and contracts including programming, day- to-day planning & scheduling, cost control, and client liaison. Luke ensures that projects are delivered safely, on time, at the specified quality, and on budget. He is trade qualified, and holds a range of certificates including Cert IV Construction, Cert III OH&S and Cert III Carpentry Frame and Fit Out.

Project Manager

Sam Lewis

Sam joined BowdenCorp in 2021, bringing with him 15 years of experience in the building and construction industry, working across the state. Sam is also a registered Builder. He has managed various projects valued up to $5m across regional Victoria in the residential and commercial sectors, including coordinating works in operational facilities. Sam has undertaken many construction industry roles where he has gained extensive and valuable experience, in a range of roles as Carpenter, Site Manager, Project Manager, and Builder.

Sam’s project management responsibilities include programming and planning of projects, overseeing the running of projects, letting and oversight of subcontractors and orders, contract management, quality assurance, and programme management. His qualifications include Certificate III Carpentry, Certificate III WHS, and Certificate IV Building and Construction.
