Established in Glen Iris in 2001, our Melbourne branch serves as BowdenCorp’s head office. In 2019, with our commercial construction business continuing to grow, we shifted our operations to a new office in Richmond, which incorporates our operational support, HR, estimating and accounts teams. Our Melbourne team currently comprises 60 members who handle all commercial construction projects in the greater metropolitan Melbourne region.

People

Director

James Bowden

James brings over 30 years of commercial construction experience to BowdenCorp and is responsible for the overall management of the company. Having completed projects with construction values of up to $20 million, James’ duties include procuring new works, strategic planning and overseeing the responsibilities of all employees and subcontractors.

James is a member of the Master Builders Association and has been a licensed commercial and domestic builder since 2001.

Regional Manager - Melbourne and Central Victoria

Warren Keeble

Warren has been with BowdenCorp since 2005, and brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial construction to his role as Regional Manager. Warren is responsible for managing our Melbourne Metropolitan and Central Victorian projects, valued at up to $20 million.

Warren is responsible for the management and oversight of all project teams and sites, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, at the specified quality, and on budget. Warren has completed a Certificate IV Construction and Certificate IV OH&S.

Pre-Construction Manager

Warwick Johnstone

Warwick has over 25 years of construction industry experience, working on projects up to $150 million across various sectors. He began as an apprentice carpenter/joiner, winning State and National Apprentice of the Year awards. His career has progressed through roles including Carpenter, Site Manager, Project Manager, Estimator, Design Manager, and Estimating Manager.

Warwick holds Certificate III (trade qualified), Certificate IV, and a Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours), and has been involved with trade government advisory boards.
