Stribling Reserve Football & Netball Pavilion

BowdenCorp was appointed as the head contractor to deliver to redevelopment of the Stribling Reserve project. The Stribling Reserve Pavilions Redevelopment, featuring a new community pavilion and netball pavilion, is the jewel in the crown of an innovative partnership between Lorne community members, the Australian Government and Surf Coast Shire Council. Home of the Lorne Football & Netball Clubs, the project involved extensive demolition of the existing pavilion and administration buildings, the construction of a new two level multi use club and community building.

The new building incorporates multiple social & administration spaces, coaches and media boxes, multiple commercial kitchen zones, bar facilities, changerooms & amenities for players and umpires. The second storey space features new bar and kitchen facilities alongside a dedicated functions area that adjoins to an outside balcony accommodating a further 240 people.  BowdenCorp was also appointed for the refurbishment and construction of the netball pavilion and court resurfacing that was delivered prior to commencement on the two storey pavilion. Through great teamwork, dedication and collaboration, we managed to deliver a high quality result in record time.  The BowdenCorp team have felt privileged to play an integral role in the delivery of the Stribling Reserve project. A key facility to the local community, this pavilion is used by sporting groups, the Lorne P-12 school, Mens sheds and many more. The pavilion proudly meets the standard for diversity and inclusion to enhance women in sport, meeting the requirements to host a women's AFLW match in the near future.
