BowdenCorp was engaged to undertake a series of refurbishment works across multiple locations within the Warrnambool Base Hospital.
The project spanned nine distinct sites throughout the hospital and included both clinical and non-clinical areas, each with its own unique operational requirements. Key spaces upgraded as part of the works included the Pre-Admissions and Elective Surgery Clinic, Education Department, Volunteer Department and Education Simulation Laboratory.
In addition, various offices used by medical officers and the maintenance technician were refurbished to improve functionality and workflow. Enhancements were also made to the Community Café, creating a more welcoming and accessible environment for patients, staff and visitors alike. The works were carefully staged to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing hospital operations, with strict attention to safety protocols, infection control and stakeholder coordination throughout the delivery.
